I can’t wait for writer’s craft to begin. I love English. I really, really do. But, I fucking hate analyzing essays and poems and shit. I like to read and enjoy what I read. Whatever I take from what I read, that’s what I’ll have taken from it. I don’t feel I should need to analyze and disect every little piece of literature. If I didn’t understand the message the author conveyed, maybe he didn’t do a very good job, or maybe it’s just not for me.
